The Stories We Are preserves on video the life stories and thoughts of those you love.

        The Stories We Are (“TSWA”) is a personal, one-on-one video interview service. It is a casual “chat” with your loved one that is then distilled into a polished final video, preserving their voices, their faces, their moments, their thoughts…cherished forever. 

        TSWA comes to you, and it is the Founder John Balistreri who will be sitting down and conducting the interview, preserved afterwards on video for you for generations. 

        It’s a conversation, not a chronology. We call it a ‘chat’ because that’s really what it is: an informal, relaxed moment in time for that person in your life to chat about his or her life and thoughts.  It is not a chronology of a life i.e. it is not  ‘on x date I graduated from high school, then on y date I joined the army, then on z date I took this job.’ Some dates may come up during the chat, but only as reference points or markers of a life.
