Looking good. Everything The Stories We Are (“TSWA”)  does is meant to make our hypothetical Grandpa look good, today and in the future.  Nothing will be included that in any way embarrasses Grandpa. During TSWA’s editing process, portions of the raw video will be deleted if, for example, Grandpa takes a whiskey break, coughs for a bit, etc.

       “Oops. Can you delete that?“ Grandpa may talk about something during the interview that he doesn’t want included. If he says to delete it, it gets deleted in editing. This has happened, and it can happen as the conversation is a relaxed one with a ‘stranger,’ and Grandpa simply mentioned something as he had an extended opportunity to talk about his life and his thoughts.

        Yes, you can have input; please don’t try to be Steven Spielberg though. You have the opportunity for input after the interview chat. Obviously this doesn’t mean input as to the form of the video or its creative nature, such as ‘move this part of the video chat over to this other part.’  TSWA tries to keep the fee reasonable so more people have this opportunity; in order to do that the editing and final video have to stay pretty much in our hands.
